Akufo Addo Approves State Burial For Nana Kwame Ampadu

There is going to be a state burial for the legendary musician, Nana Kwame Ampadu. The veteran musician died on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. aged 76.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has decided to honour Nana Ampadu with the state burial.
The Director of Communication at the Presidency, Mr Eugene Arhin made this known at press briefing at the Jubilee House Thursday morning.
A former General Secretary of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Nana Kwame Ampadu born Patrick Kwame Ampadu was the founder of the famous African Brothers Band, and rose to national prominence in 1967 with his song Ebi Te Yie.
The veteran musician was admired as a master lyricist for great compositions including Getty, Oman Bo Adwo, Kofi Nkrabea, Yaw Berko, Obra, Agartha and Obi Benya Wo.
