Akufo Addo did not win the elections genuinely – Francis Ansah Tawiah, National Communication Officer, APC

The National Communications Officer of All People’s Congress (APC), Mr Francis Ansah Tawiah has revealed that “on loan” President Nana Akufo Addo did not win the 2020 Presidential Elections but rather, the EC Chair, Jean Mensah used Olusegun Obasanjo’s incumbency tactics to declared Nana Addo as the winner of the presidential elections.

Briefing the press today, he said,”None of the 12 Presidential Candidates had 50% in the December 7, 2020 Presidential Election. Because of the close alliance between the president and Jean Mensah, she declared Akufo Addo the winner knowing very well that wasn’t true per the results coming in from all 16 regions of Ghana.

“Trust me, Jean Mensah will be disgraced once the NDC calls for an on camera collation of the Pink sheets at the supreme Court.”

He indicated that the “on loan” President Nana Akufo Addo is aware he didn’t win the elections. And that is why he and his suppporters cannot jubilate.

The Supreme Court yesterday adjourned the petition hearing challenging the 2020 Presidential Election results brought before it by former president and flagbearer of NDC, John Dramani Mahama to Tuesday, January 19, 2021.
