Alan Kyerematen Claims He’s the Best Bet for NPP in 2024 Presidential Elections

The race for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential flag bearer in the 2024 elections is heating up, with various candidates making their intentions known. Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, one of the party’s flag bearer hopefuls, has thrown his hat into the ring, stating that he has the political experience to win the 2024 elections.
During a health walk in Accra dubbed “Aduro Wo So (It’s Your Turn),” Mr. Kyerematen urged delegates to give him the nod, adding that the NPP needs an experienced and mature leader to break the eight-year cycle. He believes he’s the individual for the job.
The health walk was well-attended by party members and sympathizers, with hundreds of participants clad in NPP t-shirts and waving party flags. The event was characterized by singing and dancing, with party members displaying placards with various inscriptions, including “Father for All,” “Ghana’s Hope,” “Jobs for the People,” and “The True Unifier.”
Mr. Kyerematen’s candidature was endorsed by the “Santacluasians for Alan,” a group of old students from Adisadel College, his alma mater. The group praised Mr. Kyerematen’s industrial expertise, stating that he would cause an industrial revolution in Ghana if given the chance to lead the country.
Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah, the MP for Tema West, also spoke highly of Mr. Kyerematen, stating that his competence had been proven over time. He cited Mr. Kyerematen’s contribution to the growth of the NPP and past governments, especially his role in President Kufuor’s Special Initiatives.
For the most part, Mr. Kyerematen’s experience, competence, and industrial expertise seem to be the qualities that make him a suitable candidate for the NPP in the 2024 presidential elections. As the race for the party’s flag bearer heats up, it remains to be seen if the delegates will give him the nod.
