Bawumia has taken it to his social media page on twitter with a recorded video showing off his football skills. In the video, he gave the Black Stars a message encouraging them to make the nation proud.
Just as we all thought we had agreed to not support the black stars of Ghana due to the heartbreak they brought us in 2010 and the subsequent years, the love for the black stars seems to be back and greater than what we had for them then.
As the campaign begins with the slogan “We winning the World Cup,” hopes are high that the Dede Ayew-led side will defeat Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal this Thursday.
A lot of popular figures have issued a strong message to the black stars, and this one is our very own vice president, Dr. Mohammadu Bawumia, who has sent a great message to the black stars, encouraging them to stay strong and make the country proud, as they did some years ago.
In the video making waves online, Bawumia was captured showing off his football skills and could be seen donning the national team jersey.
Bawumia’s move, done effortlessly, is known in football as a ‘rainbow flake’, a trick used by exceptionally-brilliant players.
