Bekwai MCE’s Daughter Found Dead in Matrimonial Home

Bekwai, Ashanti Region – A cloud of sorrow has descended upon the town of Bekwai as the news of the untimely death of Akua Serwaa, the only daughter of Kweku Kyei-Baffuor, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Bekwai, spreads across the community.
The 30-year-old was discovered lifeless in her matrimonial home at Bebu in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region on Thursday, August 3.
The husband of the deceased, Isaac Owusu, recounted the heartbreaking incident. Upon returning home, he was met with the devastating sight of his wife’s lifeless body. To his dismay, the doors were left open, and it was apparent that a flat screen television and several items had been stolen from their residence earlier in the day, around 5:00 pm.
