Bissue Shows Up At OSP To Respond To Investigations About IMCIM

Secretary to dissolved Inter-Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining (IMCIM) Charles Cromwell Nanabanyin Onuawonto Bissue today turned himself in to respond to investigation being undertaken by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP). Mr Bissue was taken through standard protocols in respect of ongoing investigation into the works of the IMCIM and related matters.
He was arrested, questioned and subsequently granted bail. The OSP after successfully taking Mr Bissue through the respective matters to which he was invited, published a notice across their online portals to draw down publications about him being wanted.
Mr. Bissue has since not uttered a word as to what transpire at the OSP. But sources says he is calm and had resolved to continue with his campaign for the parliamentary ticket at Essikado-Ketan Constituency in the Western Region.
In the meantime, the Human Rights Court 2, Accra, will be moved tomorrow to hear a motion that was earlier filed by lawyers of Mr Bissue which sought to restrain the OSP from effecting an arrest warrant against him.
