Dr Bawumia: Our Economic Hardship Ends Soon

Dr. Bawumia says Ghanaians should be calm with the Akufo-Addo administration as plans on the way to reduce economic hardship
Dr Bawumia delivered a speech at Suhum during the Odwira Festival last weekend. The theme for this year’s Suhum Odwira was, “Development in Unity.”
He said plans are underway to put new economic measures in place to reduce the current economic hardships in the country.
Dr Bawumia said the New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration knows the current economic inbalance, which are a global phenomenon.

He said that government has employed all available means and resources to change things for the better for Ghanaians.
Dr Bawumia added that the government would soon roll-out stringent measures that would ensure that the prices of some essential commodities were reduced.
He elated the government has constructed more road networks, railways, classroom blocks, and other infrastructure.

Vice President charged the residents of Suhum to ensure that they keep their environment tidy to ensure healthy living.
The Chief of Suhum, Osabarima Ayeh Kofi II, in a speech observed Suhum stands for peace.
The Omahene (Paramount Chief) asked government to consider Suhum as the destination for meaningful economic development as it is well-known for its hospitality.
He also pleaded with the government to create jobs for the youth.
