Ghana Awards House Saga: ‘It Is A Senseless Project, Stop It And Focus On Ghanaians Needs’ – Twitter Users Tell Nana Akufo-Addo To Halt The GHC5 million Project

President Nana Akufo-Addo recently cut sod to commissioned the building of the Ghana Awards House project.
The project according to the President is an administrative building for the Heads of States Award Scheme.
Once completed, the Ghana Award House project will be a two-storey office block, with a two hundred (200) capacity conference room, and training facility designed to house the National Secretariat of the Head of State Award Scheme.
According to information gathered by AfricaOwn.com, the Ghana Awards House project will cost the country GHC 5million.
Few hours after the photos from the sod-cutting ceremony surfaced online, Ghanaians on twitter reacted to the project.
Ghanaians on twitter expressed their dissatisfaction over the project citing that there a lot needs in the country than just building another ‘unwanted’ awards house.
One twitter user described the project as a “senseless ” and called on the President to halt the project and focus on solving the basic needs of water, light and schools in the country.
