Gold Fields Ghana Foundation Graduates Second Batch of Trainees in Graduate Training Programme

The Gold Fields Ghana Foundation’s Graduate Training Programme continues to make a significant impact in equipping young graduates from host communities with essential skills for the mining industry.

The successful graduation of the second batch of 124 trainees highlights the program’s commitment to fostering employability among the youth.

The two-year hands-on training provided the graduates with valuable experience by rotating them across various departments, enabling them to acquire practical skills relevant to their chosen careers. Throughout their training, the graduates not only developed their technical competencies but also had the opportunity to contribute innovative ideas to enhance Gold Fields Ghana’s systems and processes.

Since its inception in 2018, the Gold Fields Ghana Foundation Graduate Training Programme has engaged 171 university graduates from the host communities of the Tarkwa and Damang mines. This initiative demonstrates Gold Fields Ghana’s dedication to local skills development and empowerment within its operational areas.
