Hastage #FreeAkuapemPoloo Tops Twitter Trend As Ghanaians Call For Her To Be Released Following Court Remand

Popular Ghanaian actress, Akuapem Poloo was convicted yesterday by the Accra Circuit Court over her nvde pictures with her son.
The Instagram model on her son’s seventh birthday posted some naked photos in June last year, which caused an uproar amongst a section of Ghanaians.
After months of court proceedings, she has been remanded into custody to undergo a pregnancy test before her sentencing.
Finally on Wednesday, the award-winning actress pleaded guilty to all three charges and was convicted on her own plea by the court presided over by Christina Cann.
Meanwhile, Ghanaians on twitter have thrown a massive support for the mother of one following her court remand with a hastag #FreeAkuapemPoloo and it has topped twitter trends today in Ghana.

I think there were times her lawyer did not show up probably due to finances. Where were hashtagfo?
The fury at Akuapem Poolo including same 'hashtaggers' made Akuapem chiefs angry. Gather money & find a good lawyer for her. Hashtags don't win court cases. #FreeAkuapemPoloo pic.twitter.com/bxYYqR1cLr

Let the girl go. Nam 1 is going about free. Hawa Koomson is going about free. Other corrupt government appointees are going about free, regardless of all the wicked crimes they have committed against Ghana. Akuapem Poloo don't deserve this.#FreeAkuapemPoloo pic.twitter.com/4yJHROGmy4
