Hundreds of Inmates Escapes From Prison

Hundreds of inmates have escaped from an overcrowded prison in Democratic Republic of Congo.
The prison’s deputy director Apolonia Londo told local media that two armed men arrived at the entrance to the prison, subdued the guards, and allowed a large number of prisoners to flee.
At least one prison guard was shot dead and another seriously injured. Authorities are still investigating what led to the prison break.
The prison in Matadi in the west of the country — which was built in the colonial era — holds more than six times its intended capacity of inmates.
Where do you think the problem lies, in the overcrowded prison or the poor security?
