Kotoko coach Mariano Barreto suspended two-match-GFA

The GFA has handed Asante Kotoko SC head coach Mariano Barreto Jeronimo a two-match suspension for making disrespectful remarks regarding match officials.
After their Ghana Premier League match against Legon Cities FC, the Portuguese coach made charges against the officials.
Barreto made derogatory remarks regarding the officials’ performance, claiming that the referee only makes mistakes against Kotoko.
The Portuguese were charged and found guilty of bringing the game into disgrace without proof by the GFA Disciplinary Committee.
In the remaining games of the season, the Porcupine Warriors will be without Barreto in the dugout against Bechem United and Elmina Sharks FC.
The GFA also fined Portuguese coach GHC3000.
