NPP MPs storm Parliament at 4am; take Majority side of parliament

It has surfaced that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Members of Parliament (MPs) went to the House of Parliament as early as 4am to avoid a repetition of the dawn of January 7, 2021.
This step, according the NPP MPs, is to enable them, as they claim to be the parliamentary majority, to sit on the right hand side of the Speaker of Parliament.
It must be recalled that the NDC reported early during the installation of the 8th Parliament so that they could sit on the right side, but this time around, the NPP had to be intelligent to allow all its members of Parliament to take seats on the right side before reporting to their NDC counterparts.
Hon Shiella Bartels of the NPP, who shared pictures to show that she and some colleagues went to the House of Parliament as early as 4am.
Meanwhile, the sitting today is set for 10 am.
The current composition of parliament per the EC official results is NPP 137, NDC 137; Independent 1.
