Hon. Patrick Yaw Boamah Commemorates Progress and Development in Okaikwei Central Constituency

This morning, Hon. Patrick Yaw Boamah, Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central Constituency, gathered with the Clergy at Abeka Presbyterian Church for a breakfast meeting. The gathering served as a moment of gratitude and reflection on the progress made in the constituency.

During the meeting, Hon. Boamah presented a comprehensive report on the various developmental projects and programs undertaken in the area. Notable initiatives included sponsoring 350 youth in a Skills Training Programme at GCTU (Ghana Communication Technology University), training 25 individuals in Pastry making at Sweetsi Cakes, and empowering 60 individuals in CCTV, Satellite, and Dish Installation through Emetron Technologies.

Additionally, the refurbishment of the Apenkwa Chps Compound Phase 1 was successfully completed, enhancing healthcare facilities for the community. Moreover, Hon. Boamah shared exciting plans for future projects, such as the construction of a Pedestrian Bridge at Lapaz and the ongoing progress of the Construction of Olegele Koona Roads in Lapaz.

Furthermore, the Member of Parliament introduced Catfish Farming as an empowering opportunity for the youth and registered over 400 individuals on Donewell Insurance Policy, ensuring better financial security for constituents. Education received significant attention, with the distribution of 20,000 reading books to both private and public schools in the constituency.
