‘We Need Social Amenities’- Osabarima Ayeh Kofi II
The Paramount Chief of Suhum, Osabarima Ayeh Kofi II has called on government and stakeholders to invest in the development of the Municipality.
Suhum Omanhene said the wish of the Traditional Council was to see the rapid development throughout the Municipality.
Osabarima Ayeh II mentioned that his people need good road networking, school infrastructure, hospitals, markets, etc. He added that, the citizens of Suhum have a positive attitude towards work.
The location of Suhum is perfect and strategic for every kind of legitimate business. It takes a maximum of 15 minutes to drive from Suhum to Koforidua the regional Capital and 45 minutes to drive to Accra the National Capital of Ghana.
Omanhene advised it is a good town to do investment. He called on both the private sector and the central government to assist the youth of Suhum in securing jobs.
The devil finds work for the idle hands. The youth of Suhum really need jobs.
Osabarima Ayeh Kofi ll, said the Suhum Traditional Council will encourage and appeal to all parents to ensure that all their school going wards or kids are found in school during school hours.
He therefore appeal to the government to consider establishing a polyclinic in the Municipality since the current population has outweighed their existing district hospital.
The Vice President told the people that the government has employed major economic policies to write off all the hardship in the country.
He however, acknowledged indeed Ghana is not the only country facing the heat but the whole world.
Omanhene said no government has constructed roads, Schools, One village one dame, Water projets, one district one factory, hospitals and interchanges more than the NPP administration.

But he added,
I know things are hard, like petrol increament, lorry fares; very soon things would turn good for Ghanaians, so continue supporting the government.
MP for Suhum Constituency Hon. Kwadwo Oboafo Asante also took the opportunity to plead with the people of Suhum to continue supporting and believing in the government.
