We’ll Collapse, If We Don’t Win Elections 2024-Doe Adjaho Charges NDC

A former Speaker of Ghana’s Parliament, Hon. Edward Doe Adjaho has disclosed to members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) that the party shall break down should they fail to win the next elections come2024.

He said the NDC in the next elections would have no choice than to win the polls, to rescue Ghanaians from reckless governance coupled with hardship.

Mr. Adjaho urged party folks to put all differences aside and seek the collective interest of the party.

At the NDC’s Volta Regional Delegates Conference in Ho over the weekend, the former Speaker stated Ghanaians are looking up to the party to deliver them from recurrent hardships.

“Hardship is a factor, and cost of living is a factor, but it is not sufficient. We have to work hard, we have to be united and present a united front in this region and in the party,” he observed.

He told members of the party, “We are a social democratic party, we put people at the centre of what we do so please I beg you, colleagues I beg you, we have to win the 2024 elections otherwise NDC will be disintegrated. Let’s sacrifice for this party for once.”

He admonished the NDC not to be complicent over the current economic crisis in the country. He said that alone cannot guarantee the party a victory in the 2024 general elections.

Mr Adjaho stated the mid-term elections in the United States of America should serve an example to members of the NDC; that hardship alone, inflation and the economy cannot win an election, adding, “So let us not be complacent.”
